Imagine, going out with friends on shopping with a clear pimple free face that shines like a diamond, everyone in the shopping mall is looking at your beautiful face and you feel confident and happy while shopping. I understand, having a clear pimple free face is a dream of MAANY women.

And why not? as a face full of acne isn't less than a nightmare...right?

There are Generally two types of acne...One is the small pimple that appears due to stress or changes in the body, and the other is the infection-caused pimple. The ones caused by infection are worse as they are bigger and more painful. Thus, it becomes important to prevent acne before they pop on the face and ruin it. In this blog, I've shared 7 Useful tips that'll help your face stay clean and clear as long as you keep following these tips.

What causes pimples?

Acne can occur on the face due to various reasons, such as hormonal changes that usually happen between the ages of 12-25, the menstrual cycle, dust, or lack of nutrients in the body that help prevent acne. Other factors include inflammation, excessive oil production on the face, or bacterial infections.

But what's the process of an acne happening on the face?

What happens is that - when the skin produces an excess of an oily substance called sebum, it gets trapped in the skin and pulls dead skin cells along with it, resulting in a pimple. Now let's look at the tips that'll help prevent pimples on face...

1. Wash Your Face Twice a Day

Whether you work from home or go outside, your face encounters dust and impurities throughout the day. If you don't clean it, the stubborn dust particles can penetrate deep into the skin and cause pimples. That's why it's beneficial to wash the face at least twice a day, once in the morning after waking up and once at night before sleeping to get that perfect beauty sleep.

Beauty sleep refers to the time between 10pm and 2am when skin cells repair themselves. So if your face stays clean, your skin will repair properly and the chances of wrinkles appearing will be reduced.

It's not just at night, it's also important to wash the face in the morning to remove the oil that accumulated overnight.

2. Choose Right Skincare

There are 5 types of skin:

  • Oily
  • Combination
  • Normal
  • Dry and
  • Sensitive.

Which is why when you apply any product to your face which is not made for your skin type, it reacts adversely and compromises the barriers of your face, increasing the chances of pimples on face, making it look dull and aged. Therefore, always use skincare products that are specifically designed for your skin type. To determine which products will suit your skin, you need to first know what type of skin you have among the above skin types.

Even after you know your skin type, make sure you do a patch test first before using any new skincare products as they may contain certain chemicals that can imbalance the PH Level of your skin. It's also one of the safest ways to know whether the products you're using causing pimples or not.

3. Stay Hydrated

Drinking water every now and then is the easiest way to have a beautiful clear face as water helps flush out any toxins in the body and gives hydration to not only organs but skin cells too. A person must drink at least 2 liters of water everyday but if you're too tired of drinking only water then you could try drinking green tea that does the same work. One of the popular green tea today is "Matcha" that Japanese people drink "Every Single Day" and is considered to be effective to reduce pimples and inflammation in the body.

However, make sure you drink not more than 2 liters of water every day as it can harm the body in other ways.

4. Apply less Makeup on the Face

Makeup can definitely enhance the natural features making the face beautiful and attractive. But, it's important to be aware that using excessive makeup can sometimes lead to pimples. This is because certain makeup products, like foundation, can penetrate deep into the skin cells and clog the pores, resulting in breakouts. Another reason is that some makeup products may contain chemicals that are not very skin-friendly. If you're mostly at home, it's better to avoid wearing makeup.

Save it for when you're going out or for special events, so your face can stay clear and fresh. By following this one step, you can minimize the chances of waking up to unwelcome pimples the next day.

5. Stop Touching the Face All The Time

If you want a glowing skin, you gotta stop touching your face every time you look in the mirror or doing something. It's because I believe the most dirtiest thing in this world after the Tv remote is our hands because they touch anything and get dirty easily.

The worst part?

We don't even wash them as often as we should and the hand's bacteria's spread on the face while touching it. so, stop touching your face from today to ace up the process getting a clean & clear face.

6. Don't Pop Pimples

Pimples can be really irritating, especially when they become bigger and more noticeable on the face. It may be tempting to pop them, but this is the time when you need to control yourself to prevent further damage to your face. Popping pimples can leave behind stubborn marks that take time to fade, and it's better to let the pimple heal on its own and focus on your overall health instead of popping it. You can definitely use creams that help in reducing pimples or consult a good dermatologist if you're experiencing a severe outbreak.

Try to clean the face thoroughly with a gentle cleanser and also keep in mind that when you have pimples, you should avoid using any active ingredients on my face, otherwise the situation could worsen.

7. Destress Yourself

Managing stress in this fast-paced life can be quite a task.

Did you know that even just 5 minutes of stress can lead to various health issues? The side effects of stress are - Digestive issues, loss of memory, it can reduce your life expectancy and so on...
Taking on too much stress, whether it's a lot or a little, can negatively affect your organs, especially your stomach, leading to pimples on your face. So, the less stress you have, the clearer your skin will be. To reduce stress, you can try meditation or yoga.

Just 15 minutes of meditation in the morning can keep your mood balanced throughout the day, helping you control your emotions and ultimately reducing stress and more clear skin.

Conclusion

Acne is a common occurrence on the face, but when it persists and doesn't go away, taking action to reduce it becomes necessary. While there are many products in the market that claim to reduce pimples, the easy ways I mentioned earlier will also be beneficial if you want to minimize the chances of acne on a budget.
